24 Jun 2024 ↑ Physical Education Department celebrated “International Olympic Day“ on 24th June, 2024 under the able patronage of Principal Dr. Sushma Gupta and the guidance of Ms. Taljinder Kaur, Head, Department of Physical Education. 23 June is observed as Olympic Day worldwide.

The Olympic Day is the global celebration of sports and getting active. While giving detailed information about the origin of the day, Madam Principal Dr. Sushma Gupta said that the day celebrates the foundation of the International Olympic Committee and the revival of the modern olympics games in Paris in 1884. Ms. Taljinder kaur talked about this year’s theme of the International Olympics Day 2024 which is ‘Let’s Move and Celebrate’. To commemorate the date, the students of the department organised a basket ball match. Achieving maximum goals, the team of Namrta and group won the match. Principal Ma’am commended the efforts of the department.
