07 Mar 2024 ↑ PG Department of Hindi and Music organised a Havan ceremony to celebrate Mahashivratri under the able patronage Principal Dr. Sushma Gupta and Mr. Dharam Indu Gupta, Secretary, Managing Committee on 7th March, 2024.

The auspicious occasion was celebrated with fervor and devotion. The atmosphere was filled with spiritual energy as students and faculty members gathered to participate in the traditional havan ceremony. Havan began with the chanting of sacred mantras and hymns dedicated to Lord Shiva. The havan fire was lit amidst the melodious sounds of bhajans by students and teachers of Music Department and English Department. The students Disha Mahajan and Kashish delivered their speeches on the significance of the day and narrated the stories of devotion. Madam Principal said that Mahashivratri transcends mere religious observance, embodying deep-rooted symbolism and cultural heritage. She added that it signifies the triumph of light over darkness and the pursuit of spiritual enlightenment. The students and staff members sought the blessings of Lord Shiva for wisdom, prosperity, and success. At the end, everyone recited Shanti Path.
