14 Mar 2026 ↑ PG Department of Fashion Designing in Association with Skill Development Cell, Incubation & Entrepreneurship Cell organized a Tie & Dye Workshop from 12th March 2026 to 14th March 2026 under the able guidance of Dr. Sarla Nirankari and Prof. Jyoti Saini, Head of Fashion Designing Department and Incharge, Skill Development Cell, Incubation & Entrepreneurship Cell.

 The event aimed to promote traditional crafts and provide students with hands-on experience in textile design. The students tried this art on Sarees, Dupattas, Dresses and Pouches etc. Prof. Jyoti Saini along with her department teachers Ms. Meenu Gupta, Ms. Vandhna, Ms. Rajwant, Ms. Anamika Saini, Ms. Poonam saini and Ms. Rajni Sharma taught different skills and methods of this art. Prof. Randeep Dhoot, Coordinator IQAC, Dr. Deepak Jyoti, Co- coordinator of IQAC, Prof. Sangeeta Malhotra, Dr. Dimple and Dr. Pooja graced the event with their presence. Students learned various tie & dye techniques, including folding, twisting, and bindings. Participants created unique designs on fabrics, exploring colors and patterns. Expert faculty guided students in mastering the art of tie & dye to provide hands-on experience in tie & dye techniques. The Tie & Dye Workshop at Shanti Devi Arya Mahila College was a resounding success, providing students with valuable skills and creative expression.
