29 Mar 2022 ↑ PG Department of English organised a stage drama enacted by famous Dramatist Lucky Gupta to mark the eminence of "World Theatre Day" which was on 27th March. Lucky Gupta is a famous name nationwide for his innovative Solo Play "Maa Mujhe Tagore Bana De" which is written, designed and enacted by himself.

 He is travelling since 2012 with this play all over the country. He has performed more than 1100 performance in 600 cities and towns of 25 states of India. The Play was all about a small school boy who is struggling hard to get education because his father wanted him to earn money for the family. It was such a tremendous performance that made students to forget everything happening around them and made them involved entirely in it with great emotions. Ms. Dilpreet kaur, Head, Department of English graciously handled the stage by relating to such experiences of human beings. Dr. Reena Talwar congratulated the department, Teachers and students who witnessed this drama and encouraged them to perform on the stage with such social issues common in our society. She also honoured Lucky Gupta at the end of the occasion.
