24 Aug 2024 ↑ PG Department of English in collaboration with Vinz The New Generation Dance and Fitness Studio under IQAC and the able guidance of Principal Dr. Sushma Gupta, Mr. Dharam Indu Gupta, Secretary, Managing Committee, and Ms. Dilpreet Kaur, head of the department organised Auditions for Punjab's Dancing Modeling Super Star on August 24, 2024. In this event, more than 20 students participated in both modeling and dancing categories. Out of which, 12 students got selected for the next round offering categories such as Solo Sub Junior, Solo Junior, Solo Senior, Duet, and Modelling. After qualifying the next round they will compete for the final round where winner will get grand prize of rupees 1,00,000 .

 According to the viewpoint of Madam Principal, participating in dance and modeling auditions in student life provides valuable opportunities for self-expression, confidence building, and developing essential skills like stage presence, teamwork, and time management, ultimately enhancing overall personality and career prospects. Ms. Dilpreet emphasised that dance and modeling are vibrant channels of personal expression, enabling individuals to communicate their feelings, character, and imagination through dynamic movement and striking visuals. At the end of the event, Madam Principal, Dr. Sushma Gupta, appreciated the effort of the English Department and encouraged the students to continue showcasing their talents. The college looks forward to organizing more such events in the future, providing a platform for students to shine and pursue their passions.
