27 Mar 2024 ↑ PG Department of English celebrated *’World Theatre Day’* by viewing a movie screening of new Punjabi Comedy screenplay at *Miraj Cinema, Gurdaspur* on 27th March, 2024 under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Sushma Gupta, Mr. Dharam Indu Gupta, Secretary, Managing Committee and the headship of Ms. Dilpreet Kaur, PG Department of English.

The horror comedy aimed to be a laugh-a-minute film packed with witty dialogues and general hilarity. Highlighting the eminence of the day, Madam Principal said that the day is celebrated to make people aware of the importance of the value of art form and to enable the dance and theatre communities to promote their work on a broad scale. Ms. Dilpreet Kaur narrated the theme for World Theatre Day 2024 which was *'Theatre and a Culture of Peace'.* More than 60 students went to view the movie screening with Ms. Dilpreet Kaur, Ms. Sonam, Ms. Simarjit, Ms. Taljinder, Ms. Kulwinder, Ms. Abhinash and Ms. Jyoti. The students throughly enjoyed the movie and created memorable recollections.
