08 Apr 2024 ↑ PG Department of Computer Science and IT organised a day pilgrimage to Mukteshwar Dham Temple on April 8th, 2024 under the able guidance of principal Dr. Sushma Gupta, Mr. Dharam Indu Gupta, Secretary, Managing Committee and the headship of Dr. Deepak Jyoti, PG Department of Computer Science and IT to celebrate Somvati Amavasya. According to Dr. Deepak Jyoti, Somvati Amavasya, an auspicious day in Hindu mythology, is celebrated with great reverence across India.

This event held a special significance as it coincided with a solar eclipse on April 8, 2024. According to the viewpoint of Madam Principal, trips provide students with a chance to think creatively and critically about the things they see and experience. The journey commenced with a sense of anticipation and reverence, as the pilgrims sought to explore the spiritual and cultural significance of this ancient place of worship. More than 40 students along with faculty of other departments became the part of the pilgrimage and sought blessings for their upcoming exams.
