18 Jan 2024 ↑ On the eve of the Consecration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on 22nd January 2024, Shanti Devi Arya Mahila College celebrated the Akshat Vitran Samaroh on 18th January, 2024 in the college auditorium. The event was held under the esteemed patronage of Swami Sadanand ji, President of the College Managing Committee, Mr. Dharam Indu Gupta, Secretary, and Dr. Sushma Gupta, the Principal of the college.

 Chief guests Mr. Vikram and Ms. Sudha Dhawan and other guests Mr. Narinder, Mr. Pardeep, Mr. Rishav, Mr. Sumit, Ms. Jyoti Mahajan, Ms. Parul Mahajan and Ms. Roji Saraaf graced the occasion by establishing a 'kalash' in the college. Religious hymns were recited by students and faculty members, including Ms. Dilpreet Kaur, Mr. Robin, Mr. Hitesh, and student Shweta. Mr. Vikram delivered a speech highlighting Shri Ram's principles and the establishment of the Ram Temple. As a symbolic gesture, the college lit 51 earthen lamps, creating a spiritually charged environment. The event concluded with a collective Aarti performed by all participants. This celebration not only marked the auspicious occasion but also fostered a sense of unity and devotion among the college community.
