04 Apr 2025 ↑ On 4th April 2025, students participated in Padyatra against drugs, organized by the Indian Red Cross Society, Punjab State Branch, Chandigarh, from Dhande Village to S. D. College Fatehgarh Churian. The Padyatra was led by Shri Gulab Chand Kataria, Honorable Governor of Punjab and President of the Indian Red Cross Society, Punjab State Branch. The college's managing committee, Principal Dr. Sarla Nirankari, and Red Cross Unit Incharge Ms. Randeep Dhoot guided the students to efficiently participate in the event. The Padyatra aimed to raise awareness about the dangers of drug abuse and promote a healthy, drug-free lifestyle among youth and the community. The involvement of students helped in spreading the anti-drug message and demonstrated the college's commitment to social causes.

Red Cross Unit Volunteers, NCC cadets and sports students, along with the faculty members Mr. Sidharth, Dr. Baljeet Singh, Ms. Taljinder Kaur, Ms. Vandana, Ms. Arti, Ms. Rajwant, and Ms. Simran, also actively participated in the event. The Padyatra was a successful awareness campaign, and the students' participation was commendable.
