20 Oct 2022 ↑ N.S.S Department of Shanti Devi Arya Mahila College, Dinanagar , organised Chetna rally from College to the Magrala village, under Ek Bharat shreshth Bharat mission , under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Reena Talwar, under Clean India campaign launched by Government of India on dated 20.10.2022.The NSS volunteers raised the slogans i.e., Do not burn stubble, save the earth. The main objective of this rally was to protect the environment and prevent pollution. Principal madam told that burning stubble can cause environmental pollution as well as skin, eye and lung diseases in people. Therefore we should stop stubble burning to make the environment pure.

 During this rally, Dr. Mandhir Singh, Block Agriculture Officer, Dinanagar, Sub-Inspector of Agriculture Department, Mr. Manish Kumar and Mr. Balwinder Singh, Mr. Gurpinder Singh gave a lot of cooperation in making Chetna rally a success. Agriculture officials said that organic manure, straw and animal feed can also be prepared from stubble. Apart from the environment, due to burning of stubble, many times there are incidents of fire in the ripe crops and the fertility of the soil also decreases. Therefore we should stop stubble burning to make our environment clean and green.  85 NSS volunteers participated in the Chetna rally, during which NSS Coordinator Mrs. Sangeeta Malhotra, NSS  Nodal officer  Mrs. Sunita Verma, NSS Program Officers Dr. Sushma Gupta, Dr. Deepak Jyoti, Mrs. Jyoti Saini etc. were also present.
