15 Jan 2022 ↑ NCC department of Shanti Devi Arya Mahila College Dinanagar celebrated army Day under the guidance of Principal Dr. Reena Talwar. On this occasion cadets made posters and expressed their gratitude towards army. ANO Lt. Dr. Anjna Malhotra told that Indian Army Day always reminds us of all our heroes who stand strong to keep us safe. We salute all the Army men for their bravery, dedication, and patriotism. Principal Dr Reena Talwar stated that The day is marked on January 15, every year because on this day Lieutenant General KM Cariappa was appointed to the post in 1949. He became the first Indian to head the forces. Since then, this day has become a significant day for Indian history.
