28 Nov 2023 ↑ NCC Day was celebrated by the NCC department under the chairmanship of Principal Dr. Sushma Gupta and under the direction of Colonel Mr. Amandeep Singh Aulakh, Commanding Officer of 1st Punjab Girls Battalion. On this occasion, ANO of NCC, Lt. Dr. Anjna Malhotra said that NCC in India is the largest youth organization in the world, with more than 1.2 million cadets. NCC was formed on 15th July, 1948.

NCC Day is celebrated every year on the fourth Sunday of November. Because on that day in 1947, the first units were established in Delhi. On this occasion, NCC cadets presented a colorful program. Poster Making and Speech competitions were also organized. Congratulating the cadets and Lieutenant Anjana Malhotra, Principal Dr. Sushma Gupta said that such efforts of NCC inculcate the feeling of patriotism among the youth and at the same time the work of guiding the youth is also done in NCC. NCC imbibe the qualities of leadership, courage and creativity along with discipline in the youth. The college staff members were present on this occasion.
