MSME development institute Ludhiana under ministry of MSME Government of India organised " *Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme"* for educated unemployed youth in Shanti Devi Arya mahila College dinanagar on 21st March,2022. Ministry of MSME has planned to organise such programs under " One District One College"scheme and the ministry has chosen "Shanti Devi Arya mahila College, Dinanagar" as their venue for this program. In this entrepreneurial awareness program, more than hundred students participated. The program was commenced by welcome speech of *Dr Reena Talwar, Principal* of the college. She told that MSME has provided a platform to inculcate economic independence among women. She quoted various examples of women entrepreneurs like LIZZAT PAPPADH, and MAMA EARTH etc.
*Shri Virendra Sharma,* Director Government of India MSME Ludhiana motivated the students to be aware of the various schemes being provided by Government of India so that they can become successful entrepreneurs of tomorrow. He told about the various loan schemes and subsidies being provided by the Government for the startups.
*Shri Deepak Chechi* , Assistant Director at MSME, Ludhiana emphasized on "Prime Minister Employment Generation Program(PMEGP)
*Shri Ashwani from DIC Batala told about the various schemes and " Invest Punjab" projects and told that Government of India has perspective vision for the entrepreneurial development of Punjab.
*Shri Rajan Malhotra* , LDM Gurdaspur provided detailed knowledge on various training programmes and bank Initiatives under MSME. There was an interactive session between the functionaries and students and success story of young entrepreneur Mr Raman was also discussed.
Ms Neenu sharma, HOD Commerce conducted the stage and Ms. Shelika, HOD Economics presented Vote of Thanks. The students learnt a lot in the program and were happy that the college has organised such an interesting program. At the end, the Resource Persons were honoured With souveniers as token of gratitude. During the program, Ms Ekta, Ms Sakshi, Ms Rama, Ms Sonika, Ms Neha, Ms Shallu, Ms Kawaljeet, Ms Akanksha and other staff members were also present.
