27 Jul 2026 ↑ Kargil Diwas was celebrated on 27 July 2026 to pay tribute to the brave soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice during the Kargil War of 1999. The programme was organized by the NCC Department under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Sarla Nirankari and the support of the Managing Committee.

The event was coordinated by ANO Dr. Anjana Malhotra with the active participation of NCC cadets and students.The programme was graced by Mr. Naveen Dahiya, Deputy Commandant, BSF, and Lt. Col. Anshula Sharma as the Chief Guests. It began with the ceremonial Divya Jyoti (Lighting of the Lamp), followed by the presentation of flower pots to the dignitaries as a mark of respect.Students presented patriotic songs that filled the atmosphere with pride and reverence for the nation's heroes. NCC cadets highlighted the significance of Kargil Vijay Diwas and remembered the unmatched bravery of Indian soldiers who fought under extremely difficult conditions. Special tributes were paid to war heroes such as Captain Vikram Batra (PVC), Captain Manoj Kumar Pandey (PVC), Grenadier Yogendra Singh Yadav (PVC), and Rifleman Sanjay Kumar (PVC), whose courage and sacrifice continue to inspire every Indian.
