07 Sep 2026 ↑ It’s a matter of immense pleasure that Ms. Rama Kapoor Assistant Professor in Commerce Department and Dr. Pooja, Assistant Professor and Head, PG Department of English of Shanti Devi Arya Mahila College, Dinanagar attended a Teacher Training Camp at McLeod Ganj (Dharamshala) from 2nd September 2026 to 6th September 2026 organized under the directions of Youth Services Department, Punjab.

The teachers attended this camp under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Sarla Nirankari. The training camp aimed at developing leadership qualities, adventure spirit and disaster preparedness among teachers for youth welfare activities.During the camp, teachers gained valuable practical experiences in various fields:

- Mountain Trekking and Tracking

- Disaster Management

- Resource Management

- Medical Emergency Management

- Anti-Drug Programme Management

The camp proved to be a highly enriching and learning experience. It will help the teachers to guide and train the students in adventure activities, NSS, NCC and youth leadership programmes in a better way. Principal Dr. Sarla Nirankari and all Faculty members congratulated both the teachers for successful completion of the training camp and appreciated their active participation
