Addressing the new students, Dr. Kulwinder Kaur Chheena, Dean, Youth Welfare Department emphasized the importance of lifelong learning, cleanliness, discipline, and dedication, while also highlighting the value of following rules, dressing appropriately, and actively participating in clubs and committees. Ms. Sangeeta Malhotra, Head, Department of Home Science warmly welcomed the new students, sharing the college's history, courses, skill-based add-on courses, mentor-mentee program, and buddy group system, setting the tone for a supportive and enriching academic journey. Dr. Parveen Saini, Head, Department of Chemistry, advised students on managing their time effectively, emphasized the importance of practical subjects, and provided information on bus routes to ensure a smooth commute. Ms. Sunita Verma, Head, Department of Zoology informed the students about various scholarship opportunities available to them, elaborating on the eligibility criteria, application process, and benefits of each scholarship, encouraging students to avail themselves of these financial aid opportunities to support their academic pursuits.
