
Various competitions were organized for students, including speech, essay writing, poetry recitation, and calligraphy contests with the cooperation of Punjabi faculty. The role of judges was played by Dr.Kulwinder kaur Chheena and Ms Amandeep kaur and the stage proceedings are done by Ms Rukmani. The students who performed exceptionally well were honored for their achievements. In essay writing Competition, Ritika got first prize, Kamalpreet Kaur got second prize, Babita and Janpriya got 3rd prize. In Poetry recitation competition Sumanpreet got first prize, Gurneet got second prize and Nandini got third prize. In Folk Song Competition Ms Harpinder Kaur and Shweta got first prize, Pallavi got second prize and Tanu, Kanika and Janvi grabbed third positions respectively. Principal Dr. Sarla Nirankari addressed the students, highlighting the significance of preserving and promoting one's mother tongue. She emphasized the need to use and cherish our native language to keep it alive for future generations.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from staff members and students. At last Principal Dr. Sarla Nirankari appreciated the efforts of the Punjabi Department. On this occasion, Dr.Sushma Gupta, Dr.Parveen Saini, Dr.Sonam Gupta , Ms.Hardeep kaur, Ms.Minal Gupta, and the whole Punjabi faculty were present there.
