International Mother Language Day 2022 was celebrated in Shanti Devi Arya Mahila college Dinanagar under the able guidance of Principal Dr Reena Talwar .This day was celebrated on February 21 to promote "MAA BOLI PUNJABI" . Punjab is a state which sees a sizable population youth population migrating to foreign shores, so it is the need of the hour to preserve the beautiful language for generations to come and encourage them to read, write and speak. Principal Dr. Reena Talwar motivated the students to adopt the mother tongue by telling them it's benefits. All staff members along with students took pledge to respect their mother language Punjabi. Different types of competitions conducted like poster making, slogan writing and poem recitation.
