24 Jan 2025 ↑ International Day of Education and National Girl Child Day was celebrated on January 24,2025 with enthusiasm under the able guidance of Dr. Sarla Nirankari and managing committee. The event, jointly organized by the Home Science and English Departments, highlighted the importance of education and empowering girls. The event was led by Ms. Sangeeta Malhotra and Dr. Pooja Mahajan.

Poster Making and Poetry Recitation competitions were held, with the following winners:

Poster Making: Saloni (1st), Vanshika (2nd)

Poetry Recitation: Anamika (1st), Anu (2nd), Palak (3rd)

Member of Indian association of Physiotherapist. 

Dietitian & Clinical Nutritionist and Sonia Sachar 

President, Inner Wheel Club Gurdaspur addressed issues related to menstrual hygiene and girls' rights, promoting awareness and open conversations.

Principal Dr. Sarla Nirankari honoured the guests with souvenirs and words of gratitude. The event was efficiently hosted by Ms. Poonam Mahajan.
