31 Dec 2023 ↑ In a closing ceremony of NSS Special Camp (25/12/23 to 31/12/23) organised by Government Sr. Sec. School, Begowal, New Taragarh, Principal, Dr. Sushma Gupta of the esteemed Institution Shanti Devi Arya Mahila College, Dinanagar was invited to be the Chief Guest and Ms. Sangeeta Malhotra, Head, Home Science Department was invited to be the Guest of Honour on 31st December, 2023.

 They both extol the performances held by the NSS Volunteers of the school. Madam Principal in her address, reaffirmed the Motto of NSS "Not Me But You" and reflected the essence of democratic living and upheld the need for self-less service. She gave an overview of the courses and scholarships offered by the college. Ms. Sangeeta spoke about the overall aim of NSS which is the Personality Development of students through community service. She added that NSS inculcates the spirit of voluntary work among students and teachers through sustained community interaction. Madam Principal expressed her gratitude to Mr. Raj Kumar, Principal, Mr. Jasveer Kumar, NSS Program Officer and the School Faculty. At the end of the event, they were honoured for their untiring dedication and for being exceptional NSS Program Officers.
