18 Nov 2023 ↑ Hindi Department, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, under the joint aegis of Akhil Bhartiya Rashtriya Parishad, New Delhi and Central Hindi Institute, Agra (Government of India), under the patronage of Vice Chancellor Prof. Jaspal Singh Sandhu (GNDU Amritsar) and the guidance of Dr. Sunil Kumar (Chairman of Hindi and Urdu Department) organised Two-day National Seminar on the topic Contribution of litterateurs of Punjab in Hindi literature on 16th and 17th November, 2023. Dr. Poonam Mahajan, Head, PG Department of Hindi, Shanti Devi Arya Mahila College, Dinanagar was invited in the said event as eminent Resource Person. She delivered her impactful views in the second technical session of the first day of this program.

 Padmashree Prof. Harmohindar Singh Bedi, Vice Chancellor, Central University, Dharamshala came as the chief guest. Many scholars from different parts of India participated in the program. On this occasion, Dr. Poonam was honored with token of gratitude. Principal Dr. Sushma Gupta congratulated her and encouraged her to participate in such events and to glorify the name of the institution.
