The day was celebrated to engage students in understanding and contributing to the cause of wildlife conservation.The event began with a speech by Dr. Sarla Nirankari, the Principal, who spoke about the importance of protecting wildlife and ecosystems. She explained that the survival of the natural world directly impacts the quality of life for all living beings and urged everyone to take responsibility for conservation efforts. Prof. Sunita Verma shared valuable insights about the theme, discussing how biodiversity conservation is essential for maintaining the balance of nature. She also encouraged students to adopt sustainable practices and take leadership roles in environmental advocacy. In line with the theme, the college organized a Poster-Making and Slogan-Writing Competition, where students showcased their creativity and passion for wildlife and expressed their thoughts on wildlife protection. The posters depicted the rich beauty of nature and the dire consequences of its destruction, while the slogans emphasized the critical need for preserving wildlife. Principal Madam awarded prizes to the winners of competitions. The celebration concluded with a pledge taken by everyone present to protect and preserve wildlife and their habitats and to commit to being proactive stewards of the environment.
