
During this day, Principal Madam threw light upon the NSD 2025 theme that is “Empowering Indian Youth for Global Leadership in Science & Innovation for Viksit Bharat." She said that the Made in India approach aims to make India self-reliant and reduce its dependence on imports. "Empowering Indian Youth for Global Leadership in Science & Innovation for Viksit Bharat" highlights a vision for India’s youth to take the lead in science and innovation at the global level, ultimately contributing to the realization of a "Viksit Bharat," which translates to a "Developed India.“ This includes economic growth, sustainable development, technological self-sufficiency, inclusivity & social impact.
The science department organized poster making, slogan writing, model making, and declamation competitions on this day. 55 students participated in these competitions, and the winners were Manpreet, Sakshi, Palak Paryal, Priya Saini, Radhika Sharma, Nandini, Sohini, Mehak, yogita, Aishwarya, Sonia, Sunaina from BSc Medical, Non- Medical and Biotechnology.
Principal Madam awarded prizes to the winners and appreciated the efforts of the science staff and science students. On this occasion, PRO Dr. Kulwinder Kaur, Mrs. Sunita Verma, Dr. Parveen Saini, Mr. Mohit, Mr. Bharat, Ms. Kajal, Ms.Deepika, Ms. Mandeep, Mrs. Pallavi, Ms. Deepti, Ms. Savi and Ms. Kirti were also present to grace the occasion.
