The students of college took part in demonstration against drug abuse by making posters and writing slogans. A rally of students along with few teachers was also moved with the recitation of slogans like
*Say no to drugs
*Stop drugs before it stops you
*There is no drug on earth that can make life meaningful
and many more. Madam Principal appreciated the concerned departments for their efforts. To make the students aware of celebrating and organizing such activities, the Col. Amandeep Singh Aulakh, Commanding Officer, 1 Pb. Girls Bn gave a motivational speech. He said the students to spread the knowledge gained against these social evils among the people in contact with them. According to him, one should make close friends to share his problems and avoid the use of drugs to get rid of these crisis. The use of alcohol and drugs will adversely affects their health and creates more problems. The incharge of Buddy group Dr. Parveen Saini also guided the students about the side effects of intake of these deadly chemicals. She explained the students that these chemicals will get you out of your way that is very dangerous. Madam Principal Dr. Sushma Gupta adviced the students to convey this message of drug deaddiction in their nearby places to serve the society. The winners of poster making and slogan writing competitions were also awarded with prizes. Our teachers, Mrs. Sunita Verma, Dr. Anjana Malhotra, Mr. Mohit Aggarwal, Dr. Deepak Jyoti, Dr. Neenu Sharma were the judges of the events organized.
