30 Apr 2021 ↑ Dr. Reena Talwar joined as Principal of Shanti Devi Arya Mahila College, Dinanagar on 20th April,2021.

Dharam Indu Gupta,Secretary,Shanti Devi Arya Mahila College Dinanagar. appointed Dr. Reena Talwar as the Principal of  Shanti Devi Arya Mahila College, Dinanagar after completion of interview process as per DPI(C) Punjab and Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar norms. Members of Managing Committee congratulated the newly appointed Principal. Dr. Reena Talwar has served as Head, Department of Sanskrit and has been teaching in this college since 17 years. She did her MA(Sanskrit),Ph.d from GNDU, Amritsar. She has won Gold Medal in Graduation and Post Graduation. She has qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) to be eligible for a teacher in college. She has given Junior Research Fellowship award(JRF) for doing research. She has written three books at national level. She has published many Research Papers in UGC Approved Referred journals. She has published seven chapter in books and uploaded them on GNDU Website. She has presented 44 research papers at International & National  level Seminars and workshops. She has organized three National level UGC Sponsored seminars and one webinar. She has been awarded "Charu Dev Memorial Cup" for best student in Sanskrit. She has been chosen Senate Member of  GNDU for maximum achievements at minimum age. She has also been chosen Member of Board of Studies and Member of Faculty of Languages, GNDU.The College is immensely happy that young and dynamic person is going to head this premier organisation.
