13 May 2022 ↑ Department of Psychology, under the aegis of IQAC organised a workshop cum webinar on "Emergence, Current Trends and Applications of Psychology" on 13th May,2022. Madam Principal, Dr. Reena Talwar welcomed the worthy guests, Dr. Sanjay Ghosh and Dr. Zahoor Ahmed Lone on this event and talked about the relevance of psychology in every field. Dr. Sonam Gupta, Head of Department, Psychology introduced the speakers and talked about the important contribution of psychology in every individual's life.

 Dr. Sanjay Ghosh, Assistant Professor, Lovely Professional University, Phagwara elaborated on the emergence of psychology focussing on the contribution of eminent theorists and talked about the applications of psychology in present era. He also motivated students to study psychology and take it up as a career option. Dr. Zahoor Ahmad Lone, Assistant Professor, Lovely Professional University,Phagwara talked about the current trends in psychology focusing on the role of Mental Health Apps. He also suggested students to handle social media wisely. Dr. Sonam Gupta thanked the speakers, principal madam, colleagues and students and concluded the session with the hope for such useful events in future.
