27 Feb 2024 ↑ Department of Physical Education organised the visit to the Gurudwara Shri Barth Sahib, Pathankot on 27th February, 2024 under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Sushma Gupta.

Gurdwara Sri Barth Sahib also known as Gurdwara Tap Asthan Baba Sri Chand is in memory of Baba Sri Chand (eldest son of Sri Guru Nanak Sahib Ji). The ascetic son of Guru Nanak and the founder of the Udasi order, Baba Sri Chand lived here deep in the forest for the last part of his life. Approximately 150 students of different departments went along with Ms. Taljinder Kaur, Head, Department of Physical Education, Ms. Dilpreet Kaur (Head, English Deptt.), Ms. Abhinash Kaur (Clerk), Ms. Jyoti Sharma (Clerk), Ms. Kirti Gandotra (Comp. Sci. Deptt.), Ms. Sandeep Kaur (Maths Deptt.), Ms. Rashmeet Kaur (English Deptt.)and Ms. Manpreet Kaur (Music Deptt.). They paid their obeisance to the holy Shrine and offered their prayers. After that they relished the Guru ka Langar and served in the community kitchen to show their gratitude.
