14 Mar 2024 ↑ Department of Mathematics celebrated "International Pi - Day" under the able guidance of esteemed Principal Dr. Sushma Gupta, Mr. Dharam Indu Gupta, Secretary, Managing Committee and the headship of Mr. Amandeep Arora, Department of Mathematics by organising a Poster Making Competition on 14th March, 2024. 14th March is celebrated as the birth anniversary of Physicist, Mr. Albert Einstein.

Math enthusiasts around the world, from college kids to rocket scientists, celebrate Pi Day or 3/14 — the first three digits of an infinite number with many practical uses. Emphasising the importance of the Pi-Day, Madam Principal said that the day provides us with a way to celebrate math, have some fun and recognize how important math is in all our lives. Mr. Amandeep talked about the theme of International Day of Mathematics 2024 which was 'Playing with Math'. More than 15 students of different classes participated under the said theme. Mr. Amandeep with Ms. Sandeep kaur and Ms. Sarika scrutinised every poster with dexterity. The winners were awarded by Madam Principal and the faculty. Madam appreciated the efforts of Mathematics Department.
