18 Feb 2022 ↑ Celebration of closing ceremony of the Seven days NSS special camp at Shanti Devi Arya mahila College Dinanagar dated 18th February 2022, was carried out under the able guidance of principal Dr. Reena Talwar.

Celebration of closing ceremony of the Seven days NSS special camp at Shanti Devi Arya mahila College Dinanagar dated 18th February 2022,  was carried out under the able guidance of principal Dr. Reena Talwar. 

The function started with the lightning of Vidya Jyoti by principal Dr Reena Talwar,  Sarpanch of the village Tango Shah, Mrs Ranbir Kaur,  and other guests that is  Mrs Savita Devi, Mr gurwant Singh.

Principal Dr Reena Talwar made the NSS volunteers aware about yoga and meditation  and also praised  NSS volunteers for their work during NSS camp.

5 units of NSS in college are run under 5 program officers that is Mrs Sangeeta Malhotra (coordinator), Dr Sushma Gupta , Mrs. Sunita Verma, Mrs. Deepak Jyoti, Mrs Jyoti Saini.

 250 NSS Volunteers took part in various activities during these 7 days like Self Defense classes by Mr. Gurwant Singh, First Aid and Home Nursing classes by Mr. Rajeev Kumar (Secretary, Red Cross Society Gurdaspur), Art of living classes by Mr. Shailendra Mahant , Painting of pots, Cleanliness drive, Block Printing, Stencil Printing, Tie and Dye classes, Classes on making Pickles,Murabba, and Chutneys, Career Counseling classes, Chetna rally , Poster making competition, declamation contest on Energy Conservation and Water Conservation , tree plantation, Chetna rally to motivate people to vote and Chetna rally for not burning stubble was also taken out. During this day a cultural programme was organised during which , Chahat performed Bhajan, Nikita and Richu Salaria performed solo dance, Harneet performed Kavita, Harpider sang  folk song, Sakshi and her team performed group dance, Nikita and her team performed group dance, Lovepreet and her team performed self defense. 

NSS Program Coordinator Smt. Sangeeta Malhotra threw light on the various activities of the seven day NSS Special Camp and Lovepreet also read out the camp report on behalf of NSS Volunteers. Kamaljeet, Tanvi, Lovepreet, Anjali, Rishu, and Gurleen received the award by the Principal Dr Reena Talwar for the best performance during the 7 day NSS special camp.

Principal Dr. Reena Talwar and NSS Program Officer honored the guests by giving mementos of the college.
