23 Feb 2026 ↑ Ayushi Kunwar, a second-semester B.Sc. Medical student brought honor to the college by securing first place in the Inter-College Vedic Elocution Competition (February 23, 2026) held at DAV College, Jalandhar, under the guidance of Principal Dr. Sarla Nirankari and the mentorship of Dr. Dimple Sharma.

 The competition was organized by the Ved Prachar Mandal, Ludhiana. The competition was trilingual. A total of 26 participants from various colleges in Gurdaspur, Pathankot, Batala, Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Kartarpur, Kapurthala, Phagwara, Nawanshahr, and Sultanpur Lodhi participated. Our college student overcame a tough competition to secure first place. On reaching the college campus, Madam Manpreet of Hindi Department and student Ayushi Kunwar were heartily welcomed by the Principal and while congratulating student Ayushi Kunwar and her parents, she wished them a golden future.
