04 Apr 2026 ↑ A “Mega Job Fair" was successfully organized on April 4, 2026. This event was held under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Sarla Nirankari and the Secretary of the Management Committee, Mr. Dharam Indu Gupta and under the direction of Dr. Deepak Jyoti, Head of the PG Department of Computer Science and IT. The event was organized by the coordinator of Placement cell in collaboration with the District Bureau of Employment and Enterprises, Gurdaspur. Mr. Rajinder Manhas, DSP Dinanagar, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and Mr. Pratham Pathania, Sub Inspector, Punjab Police was the eminent guest.

District employment officer, Mr Parshottam Chib and Mr. Gagan Dhaliwal placement coordinator, District Bureau of Employments and Enterprises played a vital role in this Mega Job Fair. The program commenced with the floral felicitation of the Chief Guest and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Principal Dr. Sarla Nirankari. Delivering the welcome address, Principal she expressed her gratitude to the distinguished guests in attendance. While inspiring the participants, she emphasized that no job is inherently small or big; rather, by combining hard work and dedication with unwavering self-confidence and patience, one can transform even the seemingly impossible into reality. Around 50 national and multi national companies took part in this Mega Job Fair and around 507 aspirants appeared and 223 candidates were short listed in interviews conducted by different companies. The event witnessed the participation of candidates ranging from freshers to experienced professionals. The participants received a golden opportunity to meet directly with company representatives, undergo on-the-spot interviews, and secure employment. During the event, the Chief Guest, DSP Rajinder Manhas, was honored with a token of gratitude. Additionally, representatives from various companies—including HR personnel from Food Coast International, Ms. Muskan (HR Industry), Amandeep (Jagdamba Textile), Ms. Diya (DV Electronics), Mr. Trilok (Vishal Engineering), Ms. Kiran (Maruti Suzuki), Kiran Expert Job, Mr. Ashish (Step Educare), (IBT), Mr. Anil Kumar (SB Life), Mr. Rajat (Preksha Institute), Mr. Rajinder Singh (Yes Bank), Mr. Lavpreet Kumar (Career 24*7), Mr. Ajay Mahajan (Power System Control), Mr. Amrit (Paytm), Mr. Santokh Singh (SIS), Ms. Kareena (CBA Infotech), Mr. Gagan Dhaliwal (District Bureau of Employment and Enterprises), and Mr. Parshottam Chib (District Employment Officer)—were also felicitated. On this occasion, a Fine Arts exhibition was organized by Fine Arts Department under the observation of Prof. Neha Katal, Head of the Department of Fine Arts, while a stall was set up by the Home Science Department under the directions of Prof. Sangeeta Malhotra, Head of Home Science Department.
