16 Apr 2022 ↑ ‘ 49th Annual Convocation-2022’, a much awaited and stately event, was organised in Shanti Devi Arya Mahila College, Dinanagar under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Reena Talwar. Sh. Kunwar Vijay Partap Singh, IPS, MLA, Amritsar North (Punjab) graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Mr. Dharam Indu Gupta, Mrs. Namita Gupta, Mr. Inder Gupta, along with the other eminent guests of Managing Committee were present.

 The event commenced with the chanting of sacred Ved Mantras. Principal Dr. Reena Talwar, extended a hearty welcome to all the eminent personalities. Taking into consideration the majestic history of this institution, She provided a descriptive        overview of the achievements of the college in academics, curricular, extra-curricular and sports activities. Sh. Kunwar Vijay Partap Singh congratulated the students for achieving their degrees and wished for the luminous future of every student. He admired the cultural and traditional values that the area of Dinanagar and especially the institution hold. He applauded the college for grabbing top ten university positions by total of 63 students. He firmly stated that he, while being the representative of common humanity, will eradicate the menace of drugs. He promised to ensure the contemplated vision of providing massive job opportunities to the degree holders. Kunwar Ravinder Singh Vicky, the general secretary, Shaheed Sainik Pariwar Suraksha Parishad, while upholding the general dream of every student of achieving degrees, emphasised the need to respect the deemed bond of teachers and students. He motivated the pupils to toil hard. Achieving the milestone, nearly 700 degrees were awarded to the batches of 2019 and 2020. At the end, The principal madam honoured the Chief Guest, Mr. Kunwar Vijay Partap Singh, Dr. J. K. Chohan, Principal, Swami Sarvanand Group of Institutes and Mr. Kunwar Ravinder Singh Vicky. The dignified guests, Thakur Davinder Singh Darshi, Chairman, Rajput Kalyan Board, Punjab, Thakur Sahib Singh Sabha and Betta Katal and Mr. Naval Mahajan dazzled the event. The event concluded with the loads of giggles and aspirations of all the degree holders.
