Swami Sadanand Saraswati Ji, Shri Dharam Indu Gupta ji, Shri Anil Gupta ji, Shri Bharat Indu Ohri ji, Shri Naval Mahajan ji, Shri Satpal ji, Ms. Namita Gupta, Ms. Anju Gupta, Principal Upma Mahajan were bestowed with the benevolent greetings . The event was inaugurated by releasing balloons and beautifully decorated placard bearing the college name and motto by the chief guest,guest of honour, the eminent members of committee and the Principal Madam. The event commenced with the sacred tradition of chanting Ved Mantras. A melodious song was rendered by college choir. The march past, patriotic dance and folk dance were the highlights. Many students participated in the fun-filled track and field events. The stage anchors for the event were Mrs. Neenu and Dr. Poonam Mahajan. The various sporting activities included 800 meters race, 400 meters race,200 meters race,100 meters race,triple leg race, duck walk, tug of war, sack race, etc. Apart from the students, college faculty also participated in various activities to show their talent other than teaching. Winners of the sports events got honoured by the chief guests along with the Principal Madam. The student named Aarti got selected as 'The Best Athlete' in this event. The Principal Madam while honouring the deemed guests emphasised the need of sports in the lives of human beings. The dignified guest Dr. Sukhdev Singh stated that the Guru Nanak Dev University will always ennoble such sports students and reinforced the statement that the distinguished students will get best opportunities. Ms.Taljinder kaur, Head, Department of Physical Education got honoured by Principal mam and chief guests for her commendable efforts. The Sports Day event ended with the euphoric and memorable moments.
