23 Jan 2023 ↑ Shanti Devi Arya Mahila College Dinanagar organised a special camp under Ek Bharat Shreshth Bharat Mission under the chairmanship of Principal Dr. Reena Talwar, during which students registered themselves on the Academic Bank of Credits portal under the supervision of Nodal Officer Mrs. Sunita Verma and created their A.B.C. Student ID. Principal Dr. Reena Talwar told that As per the National Education Policy 2020, the Academic Bank of Credits (ABCs) is envisaged to facilitate academic mobility of students with freedom to study in higher education institutions of the country from one program to another with a suitable “credit transfer” mechanism and for obtaining Degree/Diploma/PG-Diploma etc.

She told that , the credits earned by students will be deposited in their ABC 'Academic Account.'

She also explained many benefits of creating ID on ABC portal that is,  it allows multiple entry, multiple exit for students, stores student credit for a minimum shelf life of 7 years, transfer credit through a single window after approval of source and destination academic institution, only verified academic institutions can upload credits, Improves transparency and helps to build a more flexible approach to curriculum design and development.

Mrs.  Sunita Verma told many features of creating ID on ABC portal i.e., it 

allows academic institutions to lodge and maintain the integrity of the credits, maintains the authenticity and confidentiality of student credits, easy credit transfer through digital mode, faster credit recognition etc.

During the camp, Nodal Officer Mrs. Sunita Verma, Dr. Sushma Gupta, Dr. Kulwinder Kaur, Mrs. Sangeeta Malhotra, Dr. Deepak Jyoti, Mrs. Randeep,  Dr. Anjna Malhotra, Dr. Neenu Sharma, Mrs. Parveen Saini, Dr. Sonam Gupta, Mrs. Neha Saini, Mrs. Jyoti Saini, Mrs. Meenal, Mrs.Hardeep, Mrs. Sonia  etc., were also present.
