16 Aug 2024 ↑ PG Department of Fashion Designing along with Entrepreneurship Cell successfully organized a Rakhi Exhibition under the guidance of Principal Dr. Sushma Gupta, Mr. Dharam Indu Gupta, Secretary, Managing Committee and the leadership of Ms. Jyoti Saini, Head of the Department on August 16, 2024.

The exhibition showcased a variety of handmade items, including Rakhis, gift hampers, Tilak Thalis, and dry fruit trays. The event, held within the college premises, was a vibrant celebration of craftsmanship and tradition, attracting a significant number of attendees, including students and staff members. The exhibition was meticulously organized by a dedicated team of staff members, including Ms. Meenu Gupta, Ms. Vandana, Ms. Rajwant, Ms. Prachi, Ms. Ruchika, Ms. Pooja, and Ms. Mandeep. Their hard work and coordination were evident in the seamless execution of the event. The display of handmade Rakhis and other festive items reflected the creativity and effort put in by the organizers and the participating students. Madam Principal along with Dr. Kulwinder Kaur Chheena, PRO, Ms. Sunita Verma, Dr. Neenu Sharma, Dr. Deepak Jyoti, Dr. Sonam Gupta, Dr. Poonam Mahajan, Ms. Manwinder Kaur, Ms. Rama viewed the exhibition and bought the hampers. Dr. Sushma Gupta commended the efforts of the organizing team and expressed her satisfaction with the outcome of the event. She highlighted the importance of such exhibitions in promoting traditional arts and crafts among students and encouraging them to engage in creative activities. Overall, Rakhi Exhibition at Shanti Devi Arya Mahila College was a resounding success.
