17 Jun 2021 ↑ On concluding Day of Online Free Hobby Classes , Principal Dr. Reena Talwar congratulated all the Incharges of these classes ,Mrs. Sangeeta Malhotra from Home Science department, Mrs. Deepak Jyoti from Computer Science department,Mrs. Meenal Gupta from Fashion Designing department, Mrs. Sonia from Cosmetology department,Mrs. Sonika Gupta from Fine Arts department and Miss Taljinder Kaur from Physical Education department on successful completion of these classes run by their departments from 8th June to 16th June. More than 500 students joined these classes from different Villages of the surrounding area of Dinanagar .

Dr Reena Talwar said , such classes proved to be very beneficial for students during the pandemic of Covid-19 . As they were getting Skill Oriented Knowledge while staying safe at their home from the experienced hands of the faculty members of this prestigious Institute. Students from different Schools joined these classes and got complete guidance by teachers to choose career oriented courses of their interests for their bright future .During Basic Cooking Class Mrs. Sangeeta Malhotra made Immunity Boosting Recipes by using Vegetables , Sprouts , Milk, Curd and fruits in abundance to enhance nutritional value of different dishes  like Mocktails , Smoothies, Sharbats , Shakes ,Different type if Sandwiches ,Cutlets, Manchurian Fried Rice ,Pizza , Momos , Idli , Dhokla, Tikki , Macaroni etc and different puddings and sweets . Participants of her classes responded very enthusiastically and made almost every dish taught by her . As source of motivation She introduced a Budding Entrepreneur in her live class who has started her small scale business of Home delivery of food items on prebooked orders at Gurdaspur. She taught Eggless Cake by joining the live session of cooking class and motivated the participants to Earn  While They Learn. During the Basic Computer Course Mrs Deepak Jyoti gave expertised knowledge of Office Documentation, Data complilng , MS Office , Power Point and on last day she taught the all working of email. In which she taught to create email id and sending mail with attachment, pictures etc. and various other features.Mrs. Meenal Gupta during Best Out Of Waste classes gave proper tips and training to create beautiful decorative and utility articles like Lamp Shade and Wall Hanging by using waste materials like jute thread , a Pen Stand by using chart paper and cardboard , Pompom Doormat from Waste woollen yarn , Mandala Art painting from paint colours etc. Participants responded very well and made beautiful decoration pieces out of waste material .During Skin Care & Quick Make up Tips classes Mrs Sonia taught techniques of Cleansing,Toning Moisturising , Facial Message , Peeling by using  high frequency tools and also gave Quick Party Makeup tips and hairstyles. Students participated & learned with great interest during her live sessions.Mrs Sonika Gupta during Art & Craft classes gave proper knowledge of different styles of Modern Art Paintings , Foil Painting and paper Moulding and created beautiful art pieces . Miss Taljinder Kaur during Yoga classes gave thorough knowledge of Different Yoga Asanas like Pranayama, Naukasanas, Vajrasna, Dhanurasana, Utanpadasna etc and different Mudras of Surya Namaskar and warming up  exercises which are beneficial for human health. All the participants along with their family members joined her classes and did all the Asanas under her supervision and enjoyed a lot during live sessions.
