14 Feb 2025 ↑ Mrs. Jyoti Saini, Head of the PG Department of Fashion Designing at Shanti Devi Arya Mahila College, Dinanagar, was invited to deliver a guest lecture at PM SHRI Govt. Girls Senior Secondary School, Gurdaspur on 14th February 2025. The lecture, titled "Common Techniques of Embellishment Used on Textiles," aimed to educate students about various textile embellishment techniques and their importance in the fashion industry.

During the interactive session, Mrs. Jyoti Saini discussed techniques such as embroidery, block printing, and fabric painting, highlighting their role in adding artistic value to textiles. Students engaged in discussions, gaining valuable insights into different embellishment processes. The lecture also explored career opportunities in textile and fashion design, inspiring students to pursue careers in these fields. Principal Dr. Sarla Nirankari appreciated the efforts of the Fashion Designing Department for organizing the informative session and encouraged students to apply these skills in creative and professional fields.
