There are five units of NSS in SDAM College which run under the guidance of five programme officers, rendering service to society. NSS Department organizes Ten one day NSS Campsas regular activity each year. National Youth Day, Republic Bay. International Women Day. world Health Day. World Environment Day. World No Tobacco Day. World Population Day, Sadhbhawna Divas. NSS Day. Blood donation are also celebrated, Grants are received from various resources.
31st Oct, 2017:- Rashtriye Ekta Divas was celebrated by N.S.S Dept. along with Red Cross and N.C.C Dept, on the birth anniversary of Sadar Vallabhahi Patel. Students took pledge to maintain the integrity, solidarity and unity of the nation. Students also spoke about Sardar Vallabhahi Patel. Ms, Janpreet, Ms. Anjali, Ms. Palak and Ms. Anu along with Dr. Poonam, Dr. Anjna and Principal, Mrs. Ratna Sharma spoke on the topic. Different competitions were held like Debate, Singing Patriotic songs, Poem recitation and poster Making.
13th Oct, 2017: Our students participated enthusiastically in the Shobha Yatra organized on the occasion of Nirwan Diwas.
15th Aug 2017:-71th Independence Day was celebrated by N.S.S volunteers by doing different activities like Poster Making Competition, Recitation of Patriotic Songs and Poem. A Rally was organised under the supervision of Principal Mrs. Ratna Sharma and Staff of N.S.S Department and volunteers. Students marched from college to Dayanand Math by holding Flags and Posters. Swami Sadanand Ji Saraswati, President College Managing Committee addressed the students there.
31st July 2017: Sardar Udham Singh martyrdom day was celebrated by NSS students expressing their views on contribution of Sardar Udham Singh.
July, 2017:- N.S.S Program officers enrolled the volunteers in their respective units. There are five units of N.S.S in our college and 500 students are enrolled. Van Mahotsav was celebrated in college campus and college ground under the able guidance of Principal Mrs. Ratna Sharma and all the 5 N.S.S Program officers. More than 150 Trees were planted in the college Ground and college campus.
